Flow of Random.

I am on hiatus from doing anything that feels creatively forced~ which means all I really have to talk about is my life and since  Blog pretty much = narcissism it is a good thing I am okay with being a princess.
~~

My hair is short.  Did I mention that?  I kind of like it almost as much as I kind of don't like it because dudewhere'smyhair?  I tried to flip long hair over my shoulder last night at work and when you try to flip nonexistent long hair over your shoulder you can't help but look at least a little bit retarded.

(Dear cute guy who was sitting at the bar and now thinks I am retarded, I'm not. Much.)

(Dear anyone I might offend with the use of the word retarded, Really? My bad.)

For those of you who asked, here's the short~

~~

I did hang out in the shiny shack for a few hours yesterday strictly playing around with color and shape because I have a couple of turquoise donuts that I plan to pair with lampwork.  I wasn't happy with any of the beads I made but if history is any indication they will eventually find the perfect home in just the right piece and then I'll sell each for $234,152 and treat us all to a visit to the North Pole in November so we can erase the naughty things Santa keeps track of on that list of his.

~~

I seriously need another tube of Nyx periwinkle glitter eyeliner.   Stop laughing.

Random Number Generator selected comment 15 on the seed bead giveaway, which means Kristen is a weiner.  Yay Kristen!

~~

I still haven't gotten new bed sheets.  Also I can't get the word boots out of my head this morning so I think I'll maybe stop writing now and go shopping.

Need anything?

  1. HOW long was your hair..cause this photo, in my mind, doesn't really qualify as "short" hair..it's all relative i know when you're getting use to a new do...but if you can still get it into some sort of ponytail..that ain't short hair..just sayin'

  2. You are so beautiful, Juls. Cheekbones that go on for miles. And as for shopping, I could use some new reddish nail polish. Even though my toes are all snug in their layers of warmth, they still fell nakey. Enjoy the day, Princess!

  3. As I said yesterday (I think), I haven't had long hair for thousands of years but it doesn't stop me from acting the super-model/hollywood actress pretending to flip the hair (constantly) from my eyes and off my shoulders. There are other times when I play the 80s rocker and whip it back and forth in a frenzy.
It used to make my friends laugh. Now that I'm ready to draw social security, I don't think it's as funny.

  6. Your hair still looks really long to me, so how long was it before it was cut? Love the photo girl, work it! Congrats to Kristen on winning those beads - I am sure she is doing the happy dance :)
You said boots and the song "These Boots Are Meant For Walking" is now running through my head, I can even see the video for the song.
I love my Northern Nights flannel sheets. Oh so warm right now that I am fighting the cats for bed space because they love the sheets too.
    Have a great one girl!

  7. I love it Princess of Beadville... flipping non-existant hair... I'm picturing you throwing your neck out in some rare-type of whiplash. I'd be careful with that non.existent.hair if I were you! :O)

Congrats to Kristen. Make sure you CC me on the tracking info so I can ummmm, make sure it arrives at her doorstep safely and so that none of those thugs that like to steal things like bead packages right from front door steps abscounds with it. K?

Ooohhhh and I second E.B.s comment about Northern Nights. We got a set for X-mas from the in-laws... and girlllllll let me tell you, they are so deliciously snuggly that I barely muster enough life to get out of bed. If I could bead in bed (without having issues of nosey dogs) I would! LOL

    Hugs to all!

  8. That looks like you got a really good cut - the end has a really nice shape. I went from down my back to the nape of my neck last week, and the thing that really disorients me is showering. Not only am I pumping way way way way way too much shampoo into my hands, but when I'm washing my hair my hands are always surprised when they get to the end of the hair and feel like they should keep going. It's like sitting down and discovering the chair isn't there!

  9. My hair is TOO LONG if it's more than 2.5" so when you hit that mark, I'll consider calling your hair "short." I agree with you on boots, however. Always a good reason to go shopping!

  11. So did you find some boots?
At first I thought I had read that you couldn't get the word 'boobs' out of your head. I guess shopping for those would be a little more expensive and time consuming.
