And I'm pretty sure there's no cure for that.

You might remember Maryann commissioned a few necklaces as gifts for her children.  She made ceramic beads to be used between the beaded beads, and while we were discussing options I scored some beads from her Etsy shop that needed to come and live at my house.   While I was working on the necklaces for her children the focal in this one kept chattering at me that maybe it had changed its mind and wanted to go back and live with MaryAnn.  So I made this gift for her~

And then I started this one thinking "colorful~simple~fun".
When I finished it was definitely in the realm of  "pattern~gag~EW".

I'm glad that's over with.

Yesterday I realized it was time, so I forced myself to order more delicas.  And since that was such a horrible experience I also ordered more of my favorite Silver glass.  And because that was so tedious I hopped around to a couple of my favorite gemstone suppliers and ordered 6mm beads. I then somehow dredged up the energy to order mandrels.

I am now suffering from Empty-Wallet-Itis, which oddly enough has resulted in the big stupid grin currently residing on my face.

  2. I am so glad you have a grin on your face. I hope that makes up for that stupid virus yesterday. Can't wait to see what you do with your new goodies.
    Keep smiling!

  3. Glad to hear you are smiling... even if your wallet is empty! I always feel guilty when I buy too many beads... but hey only for a few seconds!

I love both of your pieces. I like the first one the best but you know I reckon that happy, colourful one could look gorgeous with the right outfit - put it this way I'd wear it!!

  4. You are crazy girl. Why don't you just tell it like it is!? I'm sitting here with $4.00 in my checking account, planning how to spend my next paycheck on beads, and still some how magically mange to pay the bills too!
