I messed up, y'all. Bigger than big time.
If anyone knows how to get set glass out of the tiny torch ports of a Mini CC, your help would be more appreciated than I can say. 3 of the 7 ports are blocked on my torch, including the center.
Email me, leave a comment, or just drive over and smack me upside the head. I kinda deserve it for making such a stupid mistake.
I've tried cleaning it with the supplied files and brush. I've heated it super hot and dunked it in water. I called it baby and proposed. I offered it the last cupcake. It isn't interested.
I'm not prone to freaking out, but this is one instance where I. AM. FREAKING. OUT.
Help.
Yikes-- It sounds like you have tried everything I would have suggested. Cold water dunking usually "shocks" it off. I've used jewelry wire as well as the "files on the ports-- Dentist files have worked to..That center is going to be the worst..it really messes up the candle.

I was also going to say to keep "shocking " it off with the cold water-- sometimes that takes multiple attempts to get it all

Hmmm I have no idea to help or even understand what the problem is but it's obviously serious. I have a few lampworking buddies so will put a call out to see if anyone can suggest a solution.

Oh, my, Juls. Did you call Carlisle and talk with them? When I've had problems with my mini, they have been most helpful. If you have any size 11 piano wire, that is what they told me to clean mine with. If you don't, email me, and I'll send you some. I don't know if that will help or not, but I have plenty! Trust me!
