I worked so much through the holidays that they swooshed by without my really noticing, and that is why my Christmas tree is still all lit up in my living room. Before you think I'm the retarded neighbor who leaves decorations up year round you should know I have a strict deadline of March 3rd to take them down. Until then feel free to send presents.
My mom teaches a Sunday school class, so as part of the wrapping on her Christmas present I included zipper pulls for her to give to her little girls.
Mama got one with a cross, and because everyone who saw it yelled Gimme That! I thought it prudent to make more as fights breaking out over a cross would be the quintessential oxymoron second only to
almost pregnant.
A good friend of mine asked me to make something for her soon to be Mother in Law~ and because she gave me no direction save "she's a lot like us" we ended up with this:

Out of curiosity I submitted my blog to Wikio in December. Are all 2 of you as thrilled as I am to know that my blog ranked #7024 when the new rankings were released yesterday? I'm terrified to submit my blog and find out that I have 15 faithful readers, or worse, to have them e-mail me back and say...."Huh? Who?"

oh and BTW..one year my friend left her decorations up until easter ..then some one declared them a fire hazzard and took them down. last night coming home from dinner we remarked how drab the neighborhood looks with out the holiday decorations..hmmmm

Love the zipper pulls, what a brilliant idea. I wouldn't even think of submitting my blog to anything like that lol, but it does look like there are a few of us around :) I've really enjoyed following your blog - and if I could persuade my hubby, we'd have our decorations up year round :P

I would much rather be with you in crazy than crazy in some alternate universe where people really care about those sort of silly things. You are the most popular ruler of Julsland so you just keep on electing yourself. And I will be there to Julspeak with you and eat whatever is in those crazy cupboards. Probably crazy cat food.
