Stoked.

I've only wanted this since I was born.  Or since it came out.  Whichever is the longest.

It arrives tomorrow, but because I have to work for the next 3 days I won't be typing completely in Spanish until Monday.  For the moment I know a grand total of 2 words (Banos and Cerrados~ incidentally not the 2 words you want to hear used together while in Mexico on your honeymoon.  Or any other time you are in Mexico) so I'm thinking it will probably take at least all day Sunday before I can speak, read, and write it fluently.

  1. Fun! You must write a report about Rosetta Stone because I've always wondered if it really worked as well as they claim.

So - I just gave you a little lesson that the Rosetta Stone will NOT be teaching you (it's good stuff to have in the back of your head, for those moments that "appropriately" taught Spanish just won't work...). Feliz Navidad y prospero ano, amiga! Pienso que eres una "ROCK STAR!"

  5. This is going to be a hoot! Juls who already speaks her own version of the English language, "Julslish" (might I add it scares me sometimes how well I understand it) will now surely add her own spin to the Spanish language. I am glad my daughter speaks Spanish. This will surely be a hybrid language. Julslish + Spanglish = ? You decide. I am going to need a translator. Merry Christmas Juls. Thanks for brightening my days with your wit!

  8. You are very ambitious to learn a new language- I only know bad words my husband brings home to enlighten me from his Hispanic workers. I won't teach you those.
I will say he likes my mucho grande chi-chis.
Merry Christmas- I hope your holidays are cozy, warm with good belly food, some good laughs and love surrounding you!!
