So I made you something(s). Tokens inspired by the love and light of a community that I am so honored to be part of.
I will be giving away each of the necklaces below on Monday, October 18, 2010.
If you'd like to be entered to win, share a comment about something or someone that has made a positive difference in your life. Or just say Hi. Please be sure there is a way for me to get in touch with you in the event your comment is selected.
Everyone is welcome to enter the drawing and that includes you International Rockstars too.
You don't have to follow my blog. You don't even have to like my blog. You DO have to clap your feet while bouncing up and down on your hands. Just kidding. Although that would be awesome.
You don't have to Tweet or FB or blog about it, but if you'd like to share the love it is worth a second entry into the drawing. Be sure to leave a second comment since I will be using a random number generator to select winners.
There will be 6 winners. Each comment is eligible to win, but you can only win once. Deal?

A Helping Hand
Give one when you can.
Accept one when you need it.
That second part can be pretty hard,
but if you don't let others
help you
how else will they know
the joy of giving?
(same necklace, detail below)
The hands came from Spirited Earth, and everyone
should own a piece of Nan's beautiful ceramic work.

My son has definitely been the most influential person thus far in my life. He has (unwittingly) taught me how to be more giving, more patient (which I am still working on!), and to realize what an unearthly feeling it is to love someone so much that you do everything you can to pay things forward to make sure they have a good life. And he does this all the while remaining the six year old hooligan that he is! =)
ReplyDeleteYou are the sweetest lady. What a huge return you are giving to those who simply bought things they fell in love with that you made!!!! I, for one, was so happy to be able to DO something, in a world where it seems like we are so helpless a lot of time time.
ReplyDeleteI count the day blessed when I discovered you. And I believe that every single person who has ever commented on my blog is a true treasure. I am amazed by the generosity of spirit that I have witnessed in this realm. I am honored to play a part.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the day!
Erin
wow Juls........your generosity amazes me, you know that everyone wanted to help your precious Chelsea, and getting your beautiful beads in the process was just a great bonus ! I'm so glad Chelsea is getting better...
ReplyDeleteOh so I got the clapping feet part down but now I have to sit for a while as I bumped my head trying to bounce up and down. Why was I commenting? Oh Yeah cuz you are just plain awesomebeyondwords!
ReplyDeleteSqunches in bunches
Added a link to come and visit your blog in my Random Bits this morning!

Erin
Oh how fun! Your jewelry is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSublimes créations!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog and always love the creative way you do your posts. As for paying if forward I think being blessed with three wonderful children has been my greatest gift and they are constantly teaching me lessons. I think sitting down and coloring with them is one of the most rewarding and peaceful things I can do.

What a great giveaway! My friends help cheer me up, especially lately.
ReplyDeleteJuls, you're heart is SOOOOOOOO Biggggg as I play with my little nephew! You're like a sister to me and I'm so happy Chelsea came through surgery okay. These beautiful baubles that you made throughout her recovery each hold a special healing energy! I'd love to win any of them and all are true gifts from your heart.
ReplyDeleteLove ya girly!
Dawn
Your beads are just wonderful and I must say that Blogs really make me happy and inspire me. swopemelmel@aol.com
ReplyDeleteAs sappy as it may sound - my students. They have made the biggest impact on my life. I now have 18 years worth of former students. Last year I got an email from one in particular who wrote such meaningful things about how I influenced her life that I keep a copy at school and pull it out whenever I'm having a bad day. I have so much fun with my high school students that even when they are grouchy and don't want to do anything, they can still make me laugh.
ReplyDeleteI added a link to my blog at http:copperpennydesigns.blogspot.com for your great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteYou just keep giving and giving....you're so generous!
ReplyDeleteI'd have to say my Mom. I know, real original, but it's true. She is honest and hard working and kind and down to earth and funny. I wish I could be more like her! (I'm a little bit like her, but there's too much of my Dad mixed in there!)
Thank you for the opportunity to win one of your lovely necklaces! And I hope Chels is running around like her old self by now!
You are way to generous. I am just sorry that I wasn't following your blog when Chelsea was having all those issues. I don't have a lot of money but I am great with emotional support when it comes to our furbabies.
ReplyDeleteI think that the one person that sets a good example to me is my husband. He is one of the most giving people that I know. We don't have a lot financially these days but he is very generous with his time. His example has gotten me involved with a lot of volunter work.
I know it's probably not upbeat and all mushy but making the decision to not speak to my mother any more has been a positive decision for my life.
ReplyDeleteSometimes putting up with emotional abuse is easier than walking away - especially when it is your own mother. Having my beautiful boy made me realise that just because you are given a title of "mother" does not make you a mother. Making the decision to no longer speak to my mother and be subjected to her emotional blackmail anymore has been the hardest decision I have ever made in my life but so far it has brought me 3 years of happy times and has made me emotionally stronger for "my" family.
Being a lover of beaded cabs I adore Beatnik Baubles but WOW to win any of these gorgeous pieces would be a treat!
Thanks for an awesome giveaway Juls... you truly are a jewel in this sea of blogging.
Hugs,
Karyn
