Wherein the banning of eyebrow jazzercise is explained.

~

If you don't know Erin I order you to stop reading right this moment and go meet her~ partly because I've got my big girl pants on today but mostly because she is a treasure and you will want to follow her blog immediately.   You can thank me later.

Erin contacted me a month or so ago to see if I would be interested in creating some lampwork beads based on an art print that is part of a selection of paintings she is using to create a collection of interpretive jewelry based on each painting.  Yes, that is a long sentence.  Thank you for noticing.

As I was saying, hers is a top secret project so if she happens to be reading this whilst you are reading this just look away, avoid eye contact and HEY! Stop rolling your eyebrows in my direction.  Tattletale.

I kid.  As far as you know Erin is perfectly amenable to my sharing the project, and these are the sets I made based on the print that is framing them.

I couldn't settle on a single perception so I interpreted the piece in several ways and was thrilled when Erin decided she would create with each set.   I am a super fan of her style so I am really looking forward to seeing where she takes them.

  1. And if you are reading this, I can tell you that I absolutely, 100% sanctioned this post. That ought to count for something.
Aren't these beads TO DIE FOR? Don't you just wish that you had them? Can't you just see that inspiration painting in them? I can tell you that they are even more luscious in person. I may have even licked them once or twice. I can't wait to see what I create with them either! I will let you know when I do.
And you? Miss Juls, you are a treasure of the first magnitude. I am so lucky that I found you.

    Enjoy the day!

  4. I knew about Erin's "project" (the scope of which has me bowing in admiration whilst simultaneously cringing at the sheer amount of work entailed in it), but this is the first I've seen of any of the finished materials. WOW! This is going to be one unbelievably gorgeous finished product with this caliber of materials to work with. The beads are all to die for!

I'm really anxious to see where the beads will travel and oh the friends they'll make!

Have a wonderful time playing with them, Erin! :) Juls my dear, thanks for spilling the beads!
