Probably because I stopped yelling GIMME THAT in her face.

Most of you know that JenJudd girl.  And if you don't you should probably stop reading right now and go check out her blog.  I promise not to be offended, because I found out in person yesterday that she really does Rock!  So much in fact that if I had a basement she'd be locked in it.  Which is code for She's a keeper and not code for I'm a psycho loonybucket.

You wouldn't believe the beads she brought me. I haven't even really had a chance to oogle everything, so I think maybe I'll wait and share those as they go into projects. Over the next 10 years.

But checkit~ My lobes are rockin' the Judd this morning.

~~

We spent most of the time playing with fire, and she made some awesome beads on her first day!  So either I have mad teacherin' skillz or she is a complete natural.  I'm leaning toward the latter.   I'd show you her beads, but I think she might like to do that herownself so you'll just have to wait until she gets them early next week.  I promise I only ate a few.

Here she is rockin' her molecular structurizing skillzes:

Yes, I hear you.  Her necklace is to die for. You should see her bracelets.  There was some major coveting up in here.

This is where I mention that Jen has some mad teacherin' skillz too.  I am no wire wizard~ an understatement second only to my saying that I am a little bit clumsy.  Just ignore that roaring you now hear in the background.  She'll stop laughing in a minute.

She generously took time to show me how to make myself a bracelet, which is tricksy for she did all the work while I munched banana bread.  I did some minor assembly at the end and that must have meant I could be trusted to try another because she went back out to play in the glass shack.

I plan on aging them but I have to work up the nerve to break out the LOS. Peeyew.

I lerve 'em, and Jen seemed pleased also.

  1. HAAAAAAAAAAA I'd live in your basement, if you had one, and you'd let me play with bead all day!!!

I had such a great time!!! And, you definitely have the teachery-ness that one needs to teacher the unteachable. haaaaaaaaa

I love playing as a fire girl...even though I'm actually sore from all that spinning and concentrating and molecular restructuring.

I'll post more later...I have to explain how I got lost on Boll Weevil Circle. It is, apparently, a circle! haaaaaaaa

@ Doreen ~ If you don't mind an itty bitty puppy and a fat cat and sleeping on the couch you are most welcome to come play.

    @ EB ~ It's only a 10 hour drive. Bring it! :D

@ Erin ~ You are a joy and we'd be the lucky ones. And yep, those bracelets DO totally rock! squee!

  9. @Dawn: Thank you for the kind words. Jen is a trip and we definitely had too much fun. Glad you stopped by and I look forward to checking out your site!

@Lori: If it wasn't for the Bead Soup party we might not have met, so we get to totally blame you. Thanks again!
