Randomness.

I have a customer who asked if I would still honor the sale prices for her on Tuesday when she got paid, and since of course I will, darling! I figured I would go ahead and honor the sale prices for everyone through Tuesday.

20% off ALL listings, including those with newly reduced prices!  Coupon Code:  SAVE20
No minimum order required.  Studiojuls.com

All purchases thus far have already shipped or are going in today's mail, so mailman stalking can begin tomorrow.  Yay!

In other news, it has been raining here for 2 days.  That doesn't sound like a long time but when one is waiting on sunshine to take pics of new bead treasures 2 days is equal to 3 months which is why I am sitting here bouncing my left leg like a crackhead in withdrawal.  Patience, grasshopper, is not a virtue I come by naturally.

I gifted myself with a glass order over the weekend.  Nothing fancy~ just the staples of ivory and clear and silver wire and bead release and mandrels.  Because Mandrels!  As in after tomorrow my 32 bent ones will be replaced 40 NEW! STRAIGHT! SHINY ONES!  And that, my friends, is the very best $10 way into a lampworker's heart.

This Friday I am picking up Todd from the airport in Montgomery.  Y'all don't know Todd, so let me tell you about Todd.  He's an old friend from my high school years...the kind of friend who (when my high school sweetheart called and said he couldn't get leave to come home from Ft Hood) ran out and got a tux THREE DAYS BEFORE PROM...and then asked if we wanted a limo (which we already had, triple dated with my besties).   I haven't seen him in 25 years, but from our conversations over the past little while I am reminded of why we were such good friends back in the day.  He's all corporate-fied these days but is still the kind of people that make me happy to be one too.  Yay, Todd.

We might even discover some beach sand between our toes, and you should read that as gimmethatrightnow!

  1. Enjoy your friend. There's nothing like a friendship with a lot of history behind it.
