Y'all *know* John Travolta looked goooood in that white polyester suit.*

Which really has nothing to do with the subject of this post.  Except Disco.  And Disks.  Oh.

Available on Etsy

One of the things on my To Do Playlist last weekend was mastering this shape.  Which I did (squee!), without the use of a press.  Each side is marvered smooth with a hand tool, so instead of a coiled look they are a true disk shape with no sharp edges around the holes.  Which means they are safe to use with any type of stringing material without fear of the glass cutting it.   Sweet.

*If you are too young to get the reference in the title, go rent Saturday Night Fever.  It'll have you pointing up then down then up then down then dang, now I gotta go dance.

  6. Love the disks- Bravo on mission accomplished and I still remember my heart going pitter patter when John Travolta did that thing he does!! He even makes it pump a little harder now. I loved him in "Old Dogs" Have you seen it? My favorite part is when the pills get all switched and they both get all wiggy. Great special effects for the wiggy part. LOL and LOL again.
