There is a 100% chance I just shoved a legal narcotic into my face.

Right shin, left knee, right knee.
(the morning after)

I should have taken a picture of the public access wood
walkway that tripped me, but I was too busy bleeding.

So these.

Totally worth it.

PS.  Thanks very much for the supportive comments on my last post.  You guys *are* the Casbah.

  1. Oh no that looks like it hurts a lot!!! Sorry you took a spill but at least you got to see these gorgeous views! Take care of yourself!!

  2. This story needs some fill: where exactly were you (like the name of the beach, please), how exactly did this fall happen, and who is the hunka-hunka?

    1. That was in Panama City Beach on Sunday. We set up our spot at 8:45 am and spent the entire day watching dolphins, dragonflies, butterflies, dancing was stunning. Went to eat around 4:30 and as we were heading home the sun was setting so we went down to watch it (because sunset!) I wasn't paying attention to the broken step on the boardwalk because broken.step.on.often.used.boardwalk. HELLO?

You may all call me Grace now, just don't expect me to answer.

The hunk is Scott, and that's all I have to say about that right now. ;-)

Thanks for the comments, y'all. This is by far the worst damage I've ever done to myself at once, and even my high tolerance for pain isn't abating the occasional tear. Sniff.

    2. Thanks for filling in the details. It's all in the details.

    3. Eh, life sometimes has too many of them. ;)

  3. Ahhhhhh! I am so sorry. looks miserable!

  4. Eeesh!! So sorry that you got so hurt, but so glad it was worth it. I do love my Alabama beaches too! Here's hoping the the healing goes well.

  5. Ouch! but yes the day seem worth it. Take care of your boo boo's and you will be well in no time.

  6. OH my sweet gorgeous friend that looks like it hurts!!! Sending gentle kisses!

  7. When you fall head over heels (for the view and/or the hunk), you're not supposed to get yourself bloody. :)
